Summer Language Programs

  • The University of Wisconsin at Madison's South Asia Summer Language Institute (SASLI) will offer courses in fifteen languages from June 13-August 5, 2011: Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, Pali, Pashto, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan, and Urdu.   • American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS) will offer courses in Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Pali/Prakrit and Punjabi at various Indian locations during the summer of 2011.   • The Leiden Summer School in Languages and Linguistics will be held from August 15-19, 2011 at the ICLON Leiden University School of Teaching.
