The online listings of the UCLA Language Materials Project and the Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) omit materials for the study of Dari. These materials can be found by searching the U.S. Library of Congress online catalog at <www.loc.gov>. A search or browse in the catalog by subject ‘Dari grammar’ displays more than twenty-five descriptors and, under each, up to five sources in English, as well as in languages other than English. Under the descriptors Dari language, comparative Pushto, conversation and phrase books, dialects, dictionaries English, grammar, and textbooks for foreign speakers are sources such as those given in the following sample.
